Japanese young party☆

Japanese young people really like have a party.
We have two kinds of popular party with Japanese traditional food.
These are "Nabe party" and "Takoyaki party".
Today I would like to explain about japanese parties
which are popular among japanese young people.

First, "Nabe party".
Do you know Nabe? Nabe is japanese traditional food which is eaten especially in winter.
Meat, vegetables and mushrooms are boiled with soup.
There are lot of kinds of soup.
For example, Kimuchi, Curry, Cheese and Tyanko.
So we can change taste.
Afte eat Meet and Vegetables, we put rice or noudles into soup.
Nabe makes us warm.
We sit arround the Nabe pot,
it is really good for talking each other because we can see our faces.
If you want to have a warm and good time, you should make Nabe party!

In summer, it is too hot to eat Nabe,
so Japanese young people give a Takoyaki party.
Takoyaki is traditional japanese food from Oosaka.
Flour and soup stock which contain small pieces of octpus cook a ball-shaped.
We often put takoyaki into not only octpus but also cheese, Kimuchi, Mochi and corn.
We can create new kinds of Takoyaki.
But takoyaki's inside is too hot so be careful when you eat Takoyaki
otherwise you tongue get burn.
Japanese young people hold these kinds of party.
Nabe and Takoyaki is really easy to cook.
And really dericious.
Both of them, we can sit around and eat face to face.
This is really good for having conversation and you can have a really happy time with friends!
If you have an opportunity please try to make these japanese party!

  1. This is a great topic for your post! I love nabe and tako yaki. I hope the new international students will have many opportunities to try this good Osaka food. I am sure the students will appreciate reading your emic perspectives in your blog as well.
